The new Airport of Bangkok that onened september 2006 is named after a Golden Kingdom located somewhere in South East Asia and the name was chosen by our Current King Bhumibol. Suvarnabhumi airport has the world's tallest control tower (132.2 m), and the world's third largest single-building airport terminal (563,000 m²).

HOW TO GET TO THE AMARANTH HOTEL FROM THE AIRPORT

The hotel is conveniently located a few minites away from the Airport, Avoiding the horrible Bangkok Traffic the biggest advantage here is in a short time you can be in your room and relax, taking a taxi brings you to Sukhumvit Area in 30 minutes (outside rush hours).

To get to the hotel follow the signs that say PUBLIC TAXI - This will be a counter on the side of the road once you are outside, please note that all companies that will contact you inside the building are privately owned a a bit more expensive, of course the cars are bigges and better quality.

Once you are outside wait in line @ the Public Taxi Booth, say the name of the hotel and this street :
Rongreem Amaranth Thanon Kingkeow, Samut Prakan, or even better, print out this document and sho it to the booking officer and then again to the driver. The TAXI will run by meter and an additional 50 THB must be paid on top of the bill for the reservation, this will still be much cheaper than any private transfer and the public TAXI's all have AIRCO and are clean.

The Hotel will provide a round the clock Shuttle Mini-bus service connecting the Hotel with Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport. This service will be complementary to our resident guests.

To gain access to the Hotel Shuttle Mini-bus service from the Airport, guests must contact our Airport Representative located at the Airport: To find them, please take Exit B when exiting the Customs area into the Airport buffer hall. At the bottom of Exit B, please head to Door Number 5 where our Airport Representatives will be pleased to assist you.
